2.1 Unable to Login on iCafe Manager Server
Password Mismatch

Scenarios where the issue occurs:-

The Scenarios where this issue can occur are as follows:

  1. This issue will occur if the Administrator has forgotten his password to Login to the Café Manager Console on the server machine.
  2. The second scenario can be where somebody has changed the Admin password to login to the Café Manager Console and the Administrator is not aware about the same.
How to Identify the issue:-

Steps that help us to identify the issue are as follows:

  1. At the time of running the application the Splash Screen should show the Version Number, this states that the Database is accessible and it’s not a Database Corruption issue.
  2. The customer is not able to login to the Server Machine and is getting the error message “Invalid Password – Please re-enter password”.
Solution Provided:-

Steps to resolve the issue are as follows:

  1. Check with the Administrator if he has changed the password or was there any change in the password which was not reported to him.
  2. If the Administrator is not aware about the same then contact the Product Support Team so that they can access the machine to reset the password.
  3. The process to reset the password is:
    1. Login using the Super Admin Credentials
  4. Once we are able to Login to the Server then follow the below mentioned steps:
    1. Go to File a Application Settings a Employees àSelect the Admin User a Click on Edit a Ask the partner to enter the New Password and confirm the same.
    2. Once this is done please logout of the Console.
  5. Now ask the Administrator to Login to the console with the new password and see if everything is working fine.
