4.1. Errors during backup
CCMUI has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Causes of the issue to occur:-

The Scenarios where this issue can occur are as follows:

  1. This issue occurs while taking the Database backup.               
  2. When we restore the Database Backup.
How to Identify the issue:-

Steps that help us to identify the issue are as follows:

  1. While taking or restoring backup we get an error message “CCMUI has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience”
  2. The application will unable to create or restore the backup if the particular location i.e. C:\Program Files\Ideacts\CLINCK Cyber Cafe Manager has a missing ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll file. 
Solution Provided:-

Steps to resolve the issue are as follows:

  1. Try running a backup and see if you are getting the error message as “CCMUI has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience”.
  2. If yes then close the Café Manager Console and click on Skip Backup.
  3. Now go to the Application Location i.e. C:\Program Files\Ideacts\CLINCK Cyber Cafe Manager.
  4. Now look for the ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll file.
  5. If this file is present in the specified location then there can be a possibility of it being a corrupted file.
  6. Delete the corrupt file.
  7. Go to C:\Program Files\Ideacts\CLINCK Cyber Cafe Manager \Temp Folderà Extract CCMUpdate.zip and copy the ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll file from that folder and paste it C:\Program Files\Ideacts\CLINCK Cyber Cafe Manager.
  8. This should the resolve the issue.
  9. If the File is not present in the C:\Program Files\Ideacts\CLINCK Cyber Cafe Manager location then follow Step No. 7.
  10. Open the Cafe Manager Console and try to take the backup and see if the backup is running fine and also try restoring the same.
